Hi, I’m Alicia.
Everything you see here is my real (quite imperfect) life as a happily-married, city-dwelling, missional-living, urban-homesteading (ish), small business-owning, mother of 5.
I’ve been working in Christian community development for almost half my life. I have a teenager and a kindergartener plus 3 middle children and I’m hanging on for dear life.
I am a trained spiritual director and a soccer mom. I tend a garden, I craft words, and I don’t know what it feels like to be caught up on the laundry. I walk every day with my big dog and some days it feels like I live out of my minivan because I’m constantly schlepping kids around town.
I live a creative life that revolves around my faith in a good God, and loving and feeding those around me. And plants, lots of plants.
I’m a well-traveled homebody committed to paying attention, to noticing the large and small movements in the human experience and spiritual journey of life.
This space is a reflection of that journey.
A place to breathe, to laugh, to grow, to pay attention.
Welcome. I hope you’ll stay awhile.
